Data Deletion Instructions

If you’ve connected your Facebook account using the BBC Social – Facebook Connector and wish to delete your data, follow one of these methods:

Option 1: Disconnect from within the Plugin

  1. Log in to your WordPress account.

  2. Navigate to the page with the Connect Facebook button or the Plugin’s connection section.

  3. Click “Disconnect Facebook”.

  4. This will delete your stored access token and remove any associated connection data from your site.

Option 2: Remove access directly in Facebook

  1. Go to Facebook → Settings → Security and Login → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites).

  2. Locate BBC Social – Facebook Connector.

  3. Click Remove to revoke access and delete related data.
